Lucy Dodd: Lake in the Sky

On the occasion of her first solo show with the gallery, Lucy Dodd presents four paintings and a chair sculpture transforming the setting of the gallery in a complex theatre of signifiers.
With references to geological formations and natural phenomena, the artworks  stand as organic entities which extend to her choice of materials, all of which are subject to the possibility of transformation.
