Ni Youyu: Relic

Relic is the first solo exhibition at the gallery of the artist Ni Youyu who exhibits a new series of pinball machines. In fact, the artist collects, refits and hand paints pinball machines, often employing celestial motifs and reference to mythology. His art draws on the tradition of ancient Chinese painting to explore themes such as the intersection of historical and contemporary ideas, as well as the meeting of Chinese and Western art history and popular culture.
