Stijn Ank: Fresco

Künstlerhaus Bethanien presents “Fresco”, a solo exhibition by the artist Stijn Ank, questioning about where the surface in his work ends and where space begins. The title of the exhibition refers to the the translation of an act, a “fresco”, from which the artist is trying to make himself absent: the work itself activates space and makes us see that space “afresh”.
