Thomas Struth

Curated by Thomas Weski (Berlin) and Lucía Agirre (Curator, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao) the exhibition is a project in collaboration with Haus der Kunst, Munich.

The exhibition offers a journey through five decades of the European post-war photographer Thomas Struth (b. 1954, Geldern, Germany), who, in his practice, has always explored social contexts. His images often deal with public space, family ties, nature, culture, and the limits of new technologies, questioning the instability of social structures and the fragility of human existence.
