Marking its 15th anniversary, P420 presents “15 Years”, a group exhibition that, for the first time, brings together all the artists who have shaped the gallery’s identity since its founding in 2010 by Fabrizio Padovani and Alessandro Pasotti.
Much like Pantone 420—the neutral gray that lends the gallery its name, an ideal backdrop that enhances any color—P420 has always sought to be a space where each artist’s unique vision can stand out.
The works on display weave together like threads in a narrative that transcends geographical and temporal boundaries, creating a dynamic interplay of perspectives.
Behind every piece, there is an artist; behind every artist, a story—an encounter with the gallery’s founders, a personal journey. From the earliest artists in the program—many already recognised in art history—to later generations introduced through collaborations with curators such as Simone Menegoi, Chris Sharp, Cecilia Canziani, Antonio Grulli, Davide Ferri, Joao Laia, and more recently, emerging talents discovered through events engaging students from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, the exhibition becomes a vast map where the legacy of great masters converses with the voices of a younger generation.
This celebration is not just a tribute to the journey so far but also a vision of the future, fuelled by the same energy that has guided the gallery through its first 15 years. It marks an important moment for reflection on a shared path shaped by boldness, initiative, trust, and friendship.
