Christian Fogarolli: Corpo Eterico
For his exhibition, curated by Pier Paolo Pancotto, Christian Fogarolli has conceived a project that, as always in his work, explores the intellectual and emotional aspects of the individual in relation to social and cultural contexts.
”Corpo Eterico” engages in dialogue with objects reflecting everyday life—artifacts of so-called “industrial art”—which form a vivid expression of daily existence within the museum’s collection.
The exhibited pieces, either newly created or made specifically for the occasion, are distributed throughout the museum, transforming the space into a large-scale, multisensory installation. They establish a continuous interplay of visual and semantic resonances with the permanent collection.
The exhibition features around ten works spanning sculpture, drawing, photography, light, sound, and scent. While diverse in technique and form, they all share a common source of inspiration: the museum and its collection.
The project is realized in collaboration with Galleria Mazzoli (Modena/Berlin), Galleria Alberta Pane (Paris/Venice), and Casati (Bologna), with the support of Giovanni Pasqualini.
