Jonas Burgert. Lotsucht / Scandagliodipendenza

MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna di Bologna inaugurates the first solo show in Italy by the artist Jonas Burgert, titled “Lotsucht / Scandagliodipendenza”. The exhibition – curated by Laura Carlini Fanfogna – occupies the spaces of the Sala delle Ciminiere with around 40 large-format recent paintings.

Known for his theatrical visions crowded with fantastic figures which investigate the human existence, the artist concept deals with imagination and desire. The works on display are monumental and narrative canvases.
