Nedko Solakov: Stories in Colour

Galleria Continua presents in its San Gimignano a new exhibition spaces, the work of Bulgarian artist Nedko Solakov, a leading figure in the international art scene. “Stories in Colour“, headline so personal that the artist conceived for this occasion, is a collection of a new series of watercolours.
In the work of Nedko Solakov the autobiographical dimension and the narrative occupy a central role; the artist makes use of explicit language, the immediate, often surprising, that lays bare the conventions of everyday life and reflecting on our mechanisms of thought, on the relationship between personal and collective history, between the private sphere and the social dimension, between reality and imagination.
