Conradin Frei: Dorade Royale

Conradin Frei shows in the space for contemporary photography for the first time in an institutional solo exhibition a selection of photographic works from a bundle, which he has collected over the past two years while traveling in the Mediterranean.
During his trips Frei photographed not just landscapes, architecture or people. Man is missing almost entirely in his paintings and falls through prolonged observation.  As suggested by the title ”Dorade Royale”, the main focus of the exhibition is the look of the fish; may it be on display in a large fish market in Genoa or in a supermarket in Korcula.
