Chung Seoyoung: Endless Facts
Chung Seoyoung has spent over three decades exploring objects and language through sculpture, installation, drawing, sound, performance, and video. Emerging in the mid-1990s, she introduced new approaches to sculpture that helped shape contemporary art in South Korea.
“Endless Facts”, her first solo exhibition in the Middle East, brings together key works from her career, including “Untitled” (1993), “There is Nothing Left to Add nor Take Away” (2008), and a new site-specific installation, “Endless Facts” (2025–2026), created for the Fire Station. The works reflect her interest in the ‘sculptural moment’—how everyday materials can coalesce into art through careful arrangement.
The exhibition explores layers of reality in daily life, showing how facts and experiences can reveal unexpected connections. The layout encourages visitors to discover relationships between works, highlighting the complexities of ordinary surroundings in ways that resonate across cultures.
