Hiva Alizadeh: Singing in the hanging gardens of Babylon

In conjunction with Qatar’s hosting of Art Basel Qatar – February 2026, Katara Art Center presents two concurrent exhibitions by Khalid Bumatar, and Hiva Alizadeh. The programme reflects the diversity of contemporary artistic practices connected to Qatar and the wider region. Through conceptual approaches, expressive figuration, and cross-cultural narratives, the exhibitions explore themes of identity, memory, emotional presence, and transformation.
