Heinz Innerhofer: motus BERG
Heinz Innerhofer is a photographer documenting everyday life in South Tyrol. His images record landscapes, work, traditions, change, and continuity. While his approach is documentary, his work maintains a close engagement with the people and places he photographs.
Innerhofer’s photography often draws attention to subtle or overlooked details, balancing documentary precision with a nuanced, slightly surreal perspective. His compositions, careful use of light, and characteristic blur create a sense of depth and atmosphere.
The series motusBerg presents fragments of landscapes, mountains, and people from South Tyrol. The photographs, in black-and-white and colour, resemble sketches and reflect the region in transformation.
The series is accompanied by sound contributions from Christina Auer, Riccardo Coelati Rama, and RagenCompany. The live performance integrates images, sound, and movement, creating a layered experience in which spatial boundaries are diminished.
