Meem Gallery presents a collection of 30 works created by Modern Iranian Masters: Massoud Arabshahi, Faramarz Pilaram, Sohrab Sepehri, Sadeg Tabrizi, Parviz Tanavoli and Hossein Zenderoudi.
These works are all shown in public for the first time. The works were created between 1959 and 1964.
The artists were all somehow affiliated with the Tehran College of Decorative Arts (now known as Faculty of Decorative Arts). With these works they have created a modern language that realises the affinity between indigenous forms and the movements of Western art.
