Alserkal Avenue Programming unveils five new site-specific artist commissions that explore the industrial heritage of Al Quoz and generate new points of intersection between the Avenue and its neighbours. Working with Dubai and internationally-based artists, the works intend to critically examine the expandingconcepts of home and community taking shape amidst the city’s accelerated development and the superlative-filled iimageryof aglobalised city.
