Connectivity

People lives and relationships are being automatically documented as they live through an age of email, text messages, virtual worlds and social media, with digital distractions affecting every aspect of life – from work, safety and communication to relationships and health.

The artworks serve both to encapsulate the theme “Connectivity” and to bring out further questions surrounding what it means to be working here and now, in the context of these social and communication technologies. Selected from an open call, the works will question how technology affects lives and relationships, working practice, and engagement with the world.
