Cristiana de Marchi: Finer: a thread…in the swell of wandering words

Using a variety of stitches on different surfaces, Cristiana de Marchi addresses socially relevant themes that have a global message about geographical borders, national identities and human-made confinements. Curated by Maraya Art Centre’s curator Cima Azzam, this exhibition features the first institutional presentation of the artist’s work alongside a rich public programme, video documentation and illustrated catalogue with an essay by Jill Magi, Associate Arts Professor at New York University Abu Dhabi.
