Harif Guzman: Three Wishes

In anticipation of Art Dubai kicking off in the city, American artist, photographer, and filmmaker Harif Guzman shows his work at Foundry. The canvases on view assume as starting point Guzman’s “Three Wishes”, a series of paintings with a multi-dimensional approach incorporating the space of Foundry. Through this series, the artist proposes an emotional response to the current global situation. 

Guzman considers canvas as non-traditional objects: he has worked with all kinds of items, from lifestyle objects, toys, skateboards, and furniture to clothing, assembling second-hand imagery and ideas that characterize contemporary urban living.
