Héloïse Bariol Ceramics: Pastels

The exhibition unfolds around a unique and small series of tableware that mixes the beauty of the artisanal gesture and that of the pictorial gesture. Héloïse’s love for art doesn’t go unnoticed as many of her creations are inspired from the 20th century painters she loves. Like a canvas, Héloïse uses her table art creations to offer abstract compositions, with free and generous movements. Glazed earthenware constitutes a support rich in materials and shapes for experimenting with pictorial work. This technique allows a great freedom, both in the manufacture as in the usage of the products.

As part of the Art Dubai 2021 programme, Comptoir 102 hosts this pop-up exhibition that reinforces its efforts to bring versatile, unconventional and original pieces of art to Dubai.
