Homebound: A Journey in Photography Virtual tour exhibition

The two-chapter event organised by The Africa Institute of Sharjah features a first part (“Aïda Muluneh’s Homebound: A Journey in Photography”) curated by Salah M. Hassan, to investigate artist Aida Muluneh’s path as artist and photojournalist, her creative contributions after returning to Ethiopia from North America. The second part, curated by the artist herself, reflects on her journey as a founder and director of Addis FotoFest (AFF) which she established in 2010 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

“Homebound: A Journey in Photography” also includes a selection of works by African contemporary photographers related to Addis FotoFest’s initiatives.
