Khaled Zaki: Resurrection

Tabari Artspace presents a solo show by the Egyptian artist Khaled Zhaki, who’s currently based in Cairo and Tuscany.

The marble works on display highlight the artist’s exploration of the relationship between material and form and how he aspires for a brighter and better future.

He draws inspiration from the fragments of buildings that can be found on the streets after the Egyptian Revolution in 2011, the Egyptian protests in 2013 as well as the ongoing situation in Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.
