Omar Najjar: Rhapsody

The solo exhibition features a series of oil paintings by the Jordanian painter Omar Najjar. “Rhapsody” is the artist’s investigation into the collective act of orchestral music. Through bold and vigorous brushstrokes and blurred lines, Najjar conveys all the energy of music, depicting in each canvas orchestra players caught int the middle of the action: each one is fundamental to make work all the ensemble. Najjar’s paintings often portrait everyday situations with an impressionist-like technique, which confer them a new dimension.
