Tashweesh: Material Noise

Maraya Art Centre presents in partnership with UAE Unlimited the 2019 edition of the annual exhibition that showcases the work of emerging UAE-based artists. The exhibition called “Tashweesh: Material Noise” – curated by Maraya Art Centre curator Laura Metzler –  looks at everyday material culture. Keeping with the unique format of mentorship that UAE Unlimited has adopted since its inception in 2015, Dubai-based Emirati artist Nujoom Alghanem has been selected as the guest artist and will work in an advisory and mentoring capacity to develop new artworks for the exhibition.
