The Magical Number Seven, Plus or Minus Two

Taking its title from the landmark 1956 paper by George A.Miller, “The Magical Number Seven, Plus or Minus Two: Some Limits on Our Capacity for Processing Information”, the exhibition considers the complexities of memory through the works of three Emirati artists: Asma Khoory, Salama Nasib and Sara Al Haddad.

Using dramatically different techniques, the three artists address the issue of memory: Asma Khoory maps time with her installation; Salama Nasib focuses on autobiographical memories; while Sara Al Haddad tackles the issue of change over the passing of time.
