Wissam Shawkat: Inside/Outside

XVA Gallery presents “Inside/Outside”, a solo show by the artist Wissam Shawkat. The artist’s interest in Arabic calligraphy characterizes his production: fascinated by the forms of Arabic letters, their structures and the abstract shapes generated by their inside-out examination, Shawkat developed a unique style called Calligraform.
