Alberto Giacometti: Faces and Landscapes of Home

“Alberto Giacometti: Faces and Landscapes of Home” explores the artist’s intimate portrayals of his family and the alpine surroundings of Stampa and Maloja in the Bregaglia Valley, places he returned to throughout his life.

Curated by Tobia Bezzola, the exhibition presents paintings, sculptures, and drawings of Giacometti’s parents, his brother Diego, his wife Annette, and the landscapes of his early life. These works reveal the intensity and psychological depth characteristic of his approach to representation.

The show also features photographs by Ernst Scheidegger, Giacometti’s friend and collaborator, who documented the artist’s life and work over several decades.
