GOD

GOD is the third episode of the so called Biagetti saga by Laura Baldassari and Alberto Biagetti (together Atelier Biagetti) and curated by Maria Cristina Didero.

The initiative analyzes some of contemporary society’s greatest obsessions. After examining the human body and psychology with Body Building (2015) and No Sex (2016), this year Atelier Biagetti present, in logical progression, GOD. These three single letters together form one of the most powerful words known but this project doesn’t have a theological significance but rather investigates the all-consuming and all-powerful element of today’s society: money.

Biagetti and Baldassari’s installation, using a unique visual language, creates an environment governed by rites and rituals associated with money, aiming to enter the visitor into a space where he will be engulfed by the apparent omnipotence of money and where he will experience the sensations and emotions that it evokes.
