Daniel Buren: En voiture! Attention au Départ!

This XII edition of the Havana Biennial proposes to highlight the forgotten areas of the city.

The town hall of Casablanca, for example, located in front of Havana Bay, has a rich industrial history but, for several years now, has been completely abandoned following the disappearance of the port and sugar industry.

Daniel Buren (b. 1938, Paris) brings to life one of the country’s legendary buildings, the Hershey train station, which was once run by the sugar cane plantations.
