“Cloud Evolution” is a thrilling, future-focused exhibition with a lively and experimental outlook. On display will be an illuminating installation by Hung Keung, a journey of introspection by Hanison Lau Hok Shing, sculptures laden with childhood memories by Ho Kwun Ting, and horticultural paintings by Halley Cheng. Linking the artists together is their shared interest in our heritage of ink, and their willingness to take this communal legacy in surprising new directions. The visitor can expect to be challenged by the artists’ searching vision of what it means to be human, their investigation of themes of spiritual enlightenment, the illusory nature of space and time, and technology’s ability to wind our stories either forwards or backwards.
