Ed van der Elsken: HK the way it is

Celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the museum, F11 Foto Museum presents “HONG KONG the way it was” featuring over 130 photos of Hong Kong in 1959 and 1960 taken by Ed van der Elsken (1925-1990), which will be the first time the series is shown in its entirety.

The photos were taken during the photographer’s 3-week stay in the “prettiest of harbour cities” in his 13-month round-the-world trip. The exhibition offers its audience to reminisce and discover the disappeared Hong Kong of times past.
