Hong Kong on Steps

“Hong Kong on Steps” is a unique art project appearing on 25 flights of stairs across PMQ. This celebration of creativity is the work of seven groups of talented artists. Hailing from around the globe these creative minds from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and France have come together to paint beautifully imaginative scenes onto the steps of PMQ, lending their creative perspective to Hong Kong’s newest design and innovation hub.

PMQ’s first artistic residency, “Hong Kong on Steps” was conceived as an unexpected delight for visitors, transforming an everyday necessity into a canvas for art and imagination. The captivating stair paintings engage guests from near and far in the local and multicultural creative experiences waiting to be discovered at PMQ. An artistic installation to fascinate and surprise, it elevates the values that PMQ holds most dear – design, creativity and innovation – one step at a time.
