Huang Po-Chih: Protein Boy: Scene Two (Let Imagination Become Delusion And Seize Your Fantasies)

On the occasion of Art Basel Hong Kong, am space presents “Protein boy”, a solo exhibition by Taiwanese artist Huang Po-Chih featuring a short novel and installation project. The works displayed deal with the theme of the consumption of food and an insatiable sexual appetite generating an interactive feeding process, which connects to basic human physiological needs. Referencing Bruno Schulz’s script and Huang’s father’s symptoms of disease, the artist has developed the imaginations and research of our future foods and mental disorders.
