Martin Wehmer: The Back of the Starry Sky

Martin Wehmer’s latest works incorporate vibrant linear planes, accompanied with a minimalistic composition. He has moved from Germany to China establishing a dynamic studio in Beijing since 2008. He continually draws inspiration from possessions and mundane details that are socially relevant, which accentuates his significant engagements with local community, and his unique identity in contemporary China.
