Reunions: A Collector’s Journey

Liang Yi Museum offers a brand new exhibition entitled “Reunions: A Collector’s Journey”, this show takes inspiration by the three movements of Beethoven’s Les Adieux No.26: Da Lebewohl -The Farewell-, Abwesenheit -The Absence- and Das Wiedersehen -The Return-.

Featuring pieces of Chinese furniture from Ming and Qing Dynasties, the exhibition analyzes the themes of loss, absence and return to build a collection.
