Shagdarjav Chimeddorj: Rider on the Horizon

Hanart Tz Gallery showcases a new exhibition by Shagdarjav Chimeddorj, entitled “Rider on the Horizon” on view from 13 January to 11 February 2017. The artist year after year has turned increasingly into the medium of ink painting, accosting tightly Mongolian art to the Chinese traditional one.

Chimeddorj took part in some major Chinese exhibitions including International Ink Painting Biennial of Shenzhen (2006), the 9th Shanghai Biennale (2012), and in Hong Kong was one of the artists in the ground-breaking exhibition of Mongolian art, Modern Mongolia: From Steppe to Urban Dynamics, at Hanart Square in 2011.
