The Blue Road: Mastercrafts From Persia

“The Blue Road: Mastercrafts from Persia” is the first exhibition in Hong Kong dedicated to surveying the colour blue in Persian culture and its impact on other artistic traditions in Asia and beyond. The show presents 94 highlighted exhibits ranging from pottery, tilework, the art of the loom, manuscript painting and glasswork. The exhibition showcases a breadth of international collaboration, with key partners including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Ashmolean Museum, Asian Civilisations Museum, Doris Duke Foundation of Islamic Art among many others.
