Trace Element

Co-organised by Galerie Ora-Ora and Macau Visual Arts Industry Association and sponsored by Instituto Cultural do Governo da R.A.E. de Macau, the exhibition Trace Element – Hong Kong Station, would like to bring forth representative works of seven influential and emerging Macau talents, including Konstantin Bessmertny, Eric Fok Hoi Seng, Ann Hoi, Lai Sio Kit, Cindy Ng Sio leng, Pakeong and Nick Tai. The selected artworks span from a wide range of materials and techniques, from Hoi’s paper sculpture, Fok’s needle pen painting to Ng’s window installation; these artworks express a sense of attachment and retrospection of Macau’s unique history and development. This exhibition invites audiences not only to step into the artists’ world and be captivated by the imageries created, but also to examine the distinctiveness and diversity of Macau contemporary art.
