XCHANGE: Social Gastronomy
XCHANGE: Social Gastronomy is an experimental project that explores everyday life from a fresh perspective to facilitate the response of young designers to social issues through innovative social design. XCHANGE: Social Gastronomy turns leftovers and seasonal ingredients collected from participants and neighbourhood markets into mouth-watering dishes. It also sets out to raise people’s awareness of sustainable development and extend the spirit of green eating. Importantly, the project leverages the power of youth to explore the intriguing relationship between food and society and inspire people to eat wisely.
It invites public engagement through various programmes including:
Kitchen XCHANGE: 12pm – 8pm (Wednesdays – Sundays only)
Saturday Feast – Every Saturday at 3:15pm
Food Runner – Every Friday at 6:30pm
