Xue Feng, Solo Show

Gallery Exit present a solo show of the Chinese artist Xue Feng on view from 23th March to 29th April.
The exhibition shows all the new artworks of the artist known for his paintings of landscapes.

But he is the first to point out that they are not landscapes in the usual sense. Ignoring blue skies and wide-open spaces, he uses bright colours, he summons atmospheric effects that range from florid abundance to dark menace.

His work, he says, “emphasizes the relationship between reality and imagination. It shows the anxiety of individuals.”
