Yoan Capote: Territorial Waters

Ben Brown Fine Arts presents a solo show “Territorial Waters” with recent works by Cuban artist Yoan Capote at the Hong Kong gallery to run concurrently with Art Basel Hong Kong 2019, featuring Capote’s iconic fishhook paintings from his celebrated Isla series. 

Living and working in Havana, Yoan Capote is known to be “solid”, “provocative”, and “non-conformist” – according to some art critics – and deals principally with interactions between individuals and his psychological experiences.
