The Elgiz Museum presents the seventh of its Terrace Exhibitions ‘Skyline’ among the plazas of Istanbul’s business district Maslak. Within a broader thematic framework, this year’s terrace exhibition shows thirty-four works by artists from four different generations.

Artists’ open call applications were evaluated by the Advisory Committee that consists of academics and sculptors: Seyhun Topuz, Rahmi Aksungur, Nilüfer Ergin, Haşim Nur Gürel, Can Elgiz, and this year’s guest committee member, the President of AICA Turkey, art critic and journalist Evrim Altuğ. The exhibition catalogue provides texts on sculpture and its development in Turkey, and these exhibition series by Haşim Nur Gürel and Evrim Altuğ.

The exhibition is also sponsored by the Italian eyewear brand Persol, which supports art and artists around the world and in Turkey, whose designs are inspired by artists and their creations. ‘Skyline’ is on view among Maslak’s plazas until November 7, 2015.
