Saluti da Rimini
From July 1, throughout the summer, the city of Rimini will be decorated with large posters designed by Maurizio Cattelan together with Pierpaolo Ferrari and the Toiletpaper magazine team: these postcards are sent to the city from the city itself, showing and highlighting its pros and cons, its symbolisms and its the points of contact and divergence between imagination and reality.
Rimini is the city where, in the collective minds, the extremes overlap. The hustle and bustle of the tourist season gives way to the waterfront in the winter; festivals and nightclubs to cultural events.
There’s Fellini but there’s also the typical piadina.
From the archives of Toiletpaper, Cattelan and Ferrari have selected eight shots powerful and suggestive that capture the symbolic meanings of Rimini.
