Jonas Mekas: Let Me Dream Utopias

Following late Jonas Mekas’ proposal of a focus on poetry, “Jonas Mekas: Let Me Dream Utopias” revolves around his previously unpublished poems taken from over 60 years of his life, and incorporates his films, as well as sound pieces selected by the artist. To complement the exhibition and celebrate Mekas’ spirit of conviviality, a programme of discussions, performances, screenings, readings will take place at Rupert giving frame and context to the project’s many ideas and themes.
