Bob Law: Ideas, Energies, Transmutations

The exhibition by late British minimal artist Bob Law (1934 – 2004) marks the reopening to the public of Richard Saulton Gallery’s doors after six months. Curated by art historian Anna Lovatt, “Ideas, Energies, Transmutations” celebrates Law’s practice, consisting of minimalist drawings and paintings. The artist built an abstract vocabulary, addressing metaphysical concerns and an esoteric range of interests including alchemy, nature, mysticism, numerology, and palaeontology.
