Fashioned From Nature

Fashioned From Nature is a thematic exhibition which offers an overview of the complex relationship between fashion and nature since 1600, highlighting this connection under many aspects. For instance, it shows how fashion’s processes and constant demand for raw materials damage the environment, featuring campaigners and protest groups that have effectively highlighted this issue. At the same time it showcases designers and labels who have committed to create a sustainable fashion o to attention in using innovative fabrics. The exhibition looks also at the past, investigating the past 400 hundred years, with objects dating to the early 1600s.
