Helen Marten: 18 Works on Paper

The solo exhibition gathers 18 works by the UK artist Helen Marten, coloured pencil and watercolour on paper, inspired by children’s drawings, historical diagrams and more. Marte lives and works in London. Among her latest exhibitions, “Drunk Brown House”, Serpentine Sackler Gallery, London (2016); “No borders in a wok that can’t be crossed”, CCS Bard Hessel Museum, Annandale-on-Hudson NY (2013); “Plank Salad”, Chisenhale Gallery, London (2012). Concurrently with exhibition at Sadie Coles, the artist is publishing her first novel.
