The Serpentine North Gallery hosts a major survey dedicated to British-Ghanaian portraitist and photojournalist James Barnor. The exhibition highlights the significance of his six-decade-long career, spanning different genres, such as studio portraiture, photojournalism, editorial commissions and wider social commentary. He documented the Black lifestyle and the major social and political changes in London and Accra, working between two continents for all his life.
