Artist Kudzanai-Violet Hwami‘s solo exhibition opens at Victoria Miro Gallery I in September 2021. For the occasion, she presents a series of new works raising questions about human experience concerning spirituality. Hwami’s works express her personal vision of Southern African life through a combination of different sources such as online images and personal photographs, inspired by personal experiences of dislocation and displacement.
