Mika Rottenberg

Goldsmiths Centre for Contemporary Art hosts a solo exhibition dedicated to the Mika Rottenberg, set up throughout seven galleries in the location. The artist presents two new video works commissioned for the occasion, “Untitled (Ceiling Projection)” and “Study#4”, by which she responds to the specific architecture which hosts her and incorporates at the same time purpose-built installations and sculptures.

In her practice, Rottenberg investigates themes such as the inequalities of our global economy and the fragility of the human body, seen through a humorous and absurd lens. In these two new works the artist examines the human body’s physical and psychological potential and limitations.
