Pierre Huyghe

For his solo exhibition at Serpentine Galleries, artist Pierre Huyghe creates one of his immersive environments, dedicated to the recreation of images as they form in the human mind. Several LED screens installed in the gallery reproduce the results of individuals’ brain activities, captured while they are prompted to reflect about specific situations. Images on screens are the visual translation of thoughts, in constant change also according to gallery’s environmental factors, such as light, temperature and visitors’ actions among others.
