Sophie Jung: The Hindsighter’s Children

The exhibition is a new installation by the Luxembourg Basel-based artist, comprising a series of image-objects based on the famous Basler Totentanz, a late Middle Ages mural, painted on the inside of a cemetery wall in Basel, translated as ‘The Dance of Death in Basel’.

The artist explores her fascination for the dichotomy between the states of existence-or-not, mixing text and voice sculptures in her work.
